Why Rotary ?

Our lives are busy. Our schedules often don’t permit a time to meet with other business professionals to discuss current events, local news and civic needs. Rotary offers that opportunity.

  • Rotary Provides Fellowship
Every other Tuesday at 12:00 PM Ansonia Rotarians meet at Crave Restaurant on Main Street to network with other members and discuss Club programs.
  • Rotary Lets You Be Part of Civic Projects
The Ansonia Club undertakes a variety of projects each year that improve the life of the community. Projects range from supporting local educational efforts to recognizing outstanding first responders.
  • Rotary Connects You with State and International Humanitarian Opportunities
During the past ten years, Ansonia Rotary has raised and donated approximately $10,000 to fight Polio and support clean water and literacy projects overseasRotary is a volunteer organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian services and help build goodwill and peace across borders. There are about 32,000 Rotary clubs in 200 countries conducting projects that address illiteracy, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water and disease. Rotary International and CT District 7980 sponsor a variety of projects to improve living conditions here and overseas which can be joined and supported.
